Delivery turns all approved photos across your project’s albums into one organized ZIP package. You choose which outputs to include and then decide who receives the package:
  • Deliver your package to your approvers completes the project and gives its approvers secure download access.
  • Download the package for yourself creates a private, one-time package for you without delivering or locking the project.
Shootbin creates both package types in the background. Only approved photos are included.

Deliver to approvers

Completes the project, notifies the approvers, and keeps the ZIP available until its displayed expiry date.

Download it yourself

Creates the same configured outputs as a private, one-time download without notifying anyone.

Configure the package

1

Open the Deliver page

From inside your project, click Deliver in the project navigation. The page shows how many approved photos will be included.
2

Choose the outputs

Keep Originals selected if the original uploaded files should be included. You can also select one or more saved delivery sizes. Each generated size uses its configured longest side and JPEG quality.
3

Add optional output settings

Enable an Export Watermark separately for any selected delivery size or Instagram output. If your plan includes Instagram proof delivery, you can add that output too.
4

Choose the recipient

Click Deliver your package to your approvers to complete the project, or Download the package for yourself to create a private export. A client delivery requires at least one approver. A private package does not.
You must select at least one output. Shootbin does not enlarge photos: a saved delivery size cannot be larger than the longest side of any included original.

ZIP folder structure

The ZIP starts with the project name and then groups files by album. Each selected output gets its own folder:
Only the folders you selected are created. Generated delivery sizes are JPEG files. Export watermarks apply only to the generated output for which you enabled them. They never change or watermark the Originals/ files.

Deliver to approvers

After you confirm Deliver your package to your approvers, Shootbin prepares the ZIP in the background. You can leave the page while it runs. The progress indicator updates automatically. When the package is ready:
  • The project is marked as delivered and editing is locked.
  • Approvers receive an email and an in-app notification with secure download access.
  • The owner can also download the package from the Deliver page.
  • The page shows the exact expiry date. Everyone with download access receives a warning before automatic removal.
Approvers must be signed in. Guests and second shooters cannot download a delivery package. Any configured contract or payment requirement still applies to approvers, but never blocks the owner.
For an export that should not complete the project or notify the client, use Download the package for yourself.

Payment requirement

You can require your client to complete payment before they can download the delivery package.
1

Enable the payment requirement

In the project’s Payments settings, turn on the payment requirement for delivery. You can also manually mark a payment as received if it was collected outside Shootbin.
2

Client sees the payment prompt

When your client visits the delivery page, they see a payment prompt instead of the download button. They must complete payment, or you must manually mark it as received, before the download becomes accessible.
3

Mark payment as received

If you collected payment externally, open the delivery page and click Mark Payment Received. This unlocks the download for your client immediately. You can also reset the payment status if needed.
If you reset a payment that was previously marked as received, your client will lose access to the download until payment is confirmed again.

Cancelling a delivery

If you need to pull back a delivery after it has been generated, for example, because additional edits are needed, you can cancel it.
1

Open the Deliver page

Navigate to the delivery overview inside the project.
2

Cancel the delivery

Click Cancel Delivery. The existing ZIP package is removed and your client receives a notification that the delivery has been cancelled.
3

Trigger a new delivery when ready

Once you have made any necessary changes, return to the Deliver page and generate a new package. The new ZIP will include the current set of approved photos.
Cancelling a delivery does not remove the client’s approval decisions, only the download package itself is discarded. All approved photos remain approved until you or your client changes their status.
