Export Watermarks let you brand the generated versions inside a delivery package. Create reusable text or transparent PNG presets in your Studio settings, then enable a preset separately for each selected delivery size or Instagram output.
Export Watermarks are different from the Proofing Watermark shown on web previews. A Proofing Watermark protects images during review. An Export Watermark is rendered into selected generated JPEG files inside the delivery ZIP.

Create a preset

1

Open Export Watermarks

Open Profile, select the Studio tab, and choose Export Watermarks.
2

Create a preset

Click New preset, give it a unique name, and choose Text or PNG.
3

Configure the content

For text, enter up to 120 characters and choose the font size and color. For a logo or signature, upload a transparent PNG of up to 5 MB and set its relative size.
4

Set placement and opacity

Adjust the horizontal position, vertical position, and opacity. Use the vertical and horizontal previews to check both orientations.
5

Save the preset

Click Create preset. The preset is now available on every project’s Deliver page.
You can edit, duplicate, or delete saved presets from the same screen. Preset names must be unique within your account.

Apply a preset during delivery

1

Choose a generated output

On a project’s Deliver page, select one or more saved delivery sizes. You can also enable Instagram proof delivery if it is available on your plan.
2

Enable Watermark

Under the output you want to brand, turn on Watermark and select an Export Watermark preset. Repeat this separately for every output that needs a watermark.
3

Generate the package

Deliver the package to your approvers or download it for yourself. Shootbin renders the selected watermark into only those generated outputs.
For example, you can deliver an unwatermarked print set, add your logo to a web set, and add a text credit to the Instagram set, all in the same ZIP.

What remains unchanged

  • Original uploads are never modified.
  • The Originals/ folder in a delivery never receives an Export Watermark.
  • Outputs without the Watermark switch enabled remain unwatermarked.
  • Editing or deleting a preset after package generation does not alter that existing package. Shootbin takes a snapshot of the selected preset when generation starts.
  • Export Watermarks do not change the Proofing Watermark on web previews.
To deliver the original files with a watermark, add that watermark before uploading them to Shootbin. Export Watermarks apply only to generated delivery sizes and Instagram output.

PNG recommendations

  • Use a transparent PNG so only the logo or signature remains visible.
  • Leave some transparent space around artwork only if you want that spacing in the final placement.
  • Check both preview orientations because the same relative size and position are used on portrait and landscape images.
  • Choose an opacity and color that remain legible across light and dark photos.
