If you’ve been invited to a Shootbin project as an Approver, Guest, or Downloader, these guides cover everything you can do inside the project or delivery dashboard.

Roles at a glance

Shootbin has three roles for non-owners:

Approver

Full review access. You can browse albums, approve photos, add annotations, send the project back for edits, mark it complete, and download delivery files.

Guest

View-only access. You can browse albums and photos and view existing annotations, but you cannot approve and annotate, or participate in the review workflow.

Downloader

Delivery-only access. Download the final package without viewing albums or participating in review.
Your role is assigned by the project owner when they invite you. You cannot change your own role, contact the project owner if you need different permissions.
