Once the owner has sent the project for review, you have two ways to respond. The review loop follows a clear back-and-forth pattern between you and the project owner.
You cannot take any review actions until the owner has explicitly sent the project for review using the “Request Review” button. Before that, the project is in draft state and you can browse but not act.

How the review loop works

  1. The owner uploads photos and sends the project for review.
  2. You review the photos, approve, reject, annotate, and decide on the next step.
  3. If you send back for edits, the owner makes revisions and sends the project back to you for another round.
  4. If you mark complete, the review is finished and the owner can proceed with delivery.

Sending back for edits

If photos need changes, click Send Back for Edits.
1

Complete your review

Make sure all your annotations, approvals, and rejections are in place. These will all carry over to the next round.
2

Click Send Back for Edits

The project is returned to the owner with all your feedback intact. They receive an email and in-app notification.
3

Wait for revisions

The owner can upload revised photos, address annotations, and send the project back to you for another review round.
You can go through as many review rounds as needed. The project owner sets the maximum number of rounds in the project settings.

Marking complete

If everything looks good, click Mark Complete.
1

Final review

Double-check that all photos are correctly approved or rejected and that all annotations are resolved.
2

Click Mark Complete

The project is marked as complete. The owner receives a notification confirming the sign-off and can proceed with delivery.
Once you mark a project complete, you cannot reopen it. If changes are needed later, ask the owner to start a new review round.

What Guests can do

Guests cannot participate in the review workflow. You can view the project and see annotations left by others, but you cannot approve, reject, send back, or mark complete.
