Accepting an invitation

Check your email
The project owner sends you an invitation email with a secure sign-in link. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder.

Open the secure sign-in link
Click Accept Invitation in the email. Shootbin automatically signs you in with the account created for your email address. You do not need to register an account or enter a password.

Access the project
The invitation is accepted automatically and you arrive at the dashboard. Click the project to open it and start reviewing.
The sign-in link in your invitation does not expire while it remains unused. After your first sign-in, the link automatically becomes invalid.
Sign in again later
Your account does not have a password by default. When you want to sign in again, request a sign-in link by email from the login page:1
Enter your email address
Use the same email address that received the project invitation.

Shootbin sends a new secure link to your email address.

Open the link
Click the link in the email to sign in without a password.
Optionally set a password
You can continue using Shootbin without a password. If you also want to sign in with a password, set one from your profile:1
Open your profile
Sign in through a sign-in link and open Profile in Shootbin.

Go to Update Password
Find the Update Password section in your profile settings.

Choose a password
Enter a new password, confirm it, and save your changes.
After setting a password, you can choose between your password and a new email sign-in link when signing in.
Navigating the dashboard
Your dashboard shows all projects you have been invited to. Each project card displays:- Project name and status (draft, in review, or complete)
- A badge showing the number of new annotations or updates since your last visit
- Quick actions to open the project or view recent activity
Roles at a glance
Shootbin has two roles for non-owners. Your role is assigned by the project owner when they invite you.Approver
Full review access. You can browse albums, approve or reject photos, add annotations, send the project back for edits, mark it complete, and download delivery files.
Guest
View-only access. You can browse albums and photos and view existing annotations, but you cannot approve, reject, annotate, or participate in the review workflow.
