If you’ve received an invitation email from a Shootbin photographer, this guide walks you through accepting it and getting started.

Accepting an invitation

1

Check your email

The project owner sends you an invitation email with a link to join the project. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder.
2

Account

If you’re new to Shootbin, your account will be set-up automatically. You do not need a password and you can login with the login-link sent to your e-mail adres whenever you visit shootbin.com/login
However, if you prefer to log in with a password, you can set one by visiting your account settings at shootbin.com/user/profile
If you already have a Shootbin account, the new project is added to your account.
3

Access the project

After accepting, the project appears on your dashboard. Click on it to open the project and start reviewing.
The email address you use to login must exactly match the one the owner invited.
Your dashboard shows all projects you have been invited to. Each project card displays:
  • Project name and status (draft, in review, or complete)
  • A badge showing the number of new annotations or updates since your last visit
  • Quick actions to open the project or view recent activity

Roles at a glance

Shootbin has two roles for non-owners. Your role is assigned by the project owner when they invite you.

Approver

Full review access. You can browse albums, approve or reject photos, add annotations, send the project back for edits, mark it complete, and download delivery files.

Guest

View-only access. You can browse albums and photos and view existing annotations, but you cannot approve, reject, annotate, or participate in the review workflow.
You cannot change your own role, contact the project owner if you need different permissions.
