Studio plan features explained

The Studio plan unlocks a set of features that are not available on Hobby:

Package management

Define selection packages so clients know exactly how many photos they can choose from each album.

Contracts

Attach contract templates to projects. Clients must sign before they can access the proofing gallery.

Client payments

Require payment before clients can view or download their project. Mark payments as received manually or let the platform handle it.

Project history

View a timeline of activity on each project, approvals, sent-back events, revisions, and more.

Review round limits

Set a maximum number of review rounds per project to manage client revision expectations up front.

Voucher and discount codes

If you have a discount code, you can apply it during the Studio checkout flow.
1

Open the Subscriptions page

Navigate to Subscriptions in your account.
2

Select a paid plan

Choose the Studio, or Agency plan and your preferred billing cycle.
3

Enter your voucher code

A voucher field appears in the checkout flow. Enter your code and confirm it before proceeding to payment.
4

Complete checkout

If the code is valid, the discount is applied automatically. Invalid or expired codes are rejected with an error message before checkout starts.

Billing and invoices

Shootbin uses Mollie for all subscription billing. After your first payment, Mollie stores a mandate for recurring charges so you don’t need to re-enter payment details each cycle.
  • Invoices are available to download from the Subscriptions billing page inside your account.
  • Each invoice is tied to a specific billing cycle.
If you need invoices for accounting purposes, download them from the Subscriptions page immediately after each billing cycle.

Downgrading to Hobby

When you downgrade from Studio to Hobby, your Studio plan remains active until the end of your current billing cycle. After the cycle ends, your account switches to Hobby limits automatically. No proofing data is deleted, but you will no longer be able to create new projects or upload photos beyond Hobby plan limits.
If your account exceeds Hobby plan limits at the time of downgrade (for example more than 2 active projects), you won’t be able to create new projects until you are within the Hobby limits. Existing projects are not deleted.
