Invite a Second shooter
1
Open the project settings
Open the relevant project and go to Settings.
2
Open the Members section
Find the invitation form in Members.
3
Choose the Second shooter role
Enter the photographer’s email address and select Second shooter.
4
Send the invitation
Click Invite. The photographer receives an email with a signed invitation link. If needed, they can create their Shootbin login while accepting it.
Upload workflow
1
Accept the invitation
The Second shooter opens the invitation link, signs in or creates an account, and accepts the project invitation.
2
Open or create an album
They choose an existing album or create a new one for their upload.
3
Upload the photos
They add their photos through the regular upload flow. The files become part of the same project and count toward its plan limits.
4
Owner receives the result
When the upload batch finishes, Shootbin can notify the Owner with the number of completed, skipped duplicate, and failed files, plus a link to the album.
A Second shooter can upload while the project is open for collaborator access. Once a deadline or workflow state closes their access, only the Owner or an Account Seat can continue managing project content.
Plan availability
Pending invitations count toward the project limit. If the limit is reached, remove an existing Second shooter or pending invitation before inviting someone else, or upgrade the account.
