# Download a delivery package for yourself

> Generate a private, one-time ZIP package with approved photos without delivering or locking the project.

Self delivery uses Shootbin's delivery generator as a private export tool. It creates the same originals, delivery sizes, Instagram versions, and optional Export Watermarks that you can send to approvers, but only the project owner can access the result.

Use it when you want to inspect a package, keep a local backup, hand over files outside Shootbin, or export approved photos for another workflow.

  </Step>

  <Step title="Download once">

  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  This is a one-time download. If the connection stops before the complete ZIP is transferred, Shootbin keeps the package so you can retry. After a complete download, you must generate a new package if you need another copy.
</Warning>

## Remove a package without downloading

If you no longer need a ready private package, click **Remove download package**. This deletes the ZIP from Shootbin. It does not change approvals or the project's review and delivery state. You can create another private package later.

## Important behavior

* A private package does not notify or unlock access for approvers.
* It does not count as delivering the project.
* You cannot generate another package while one is being prepared or waiting for download.
* A private package for an already delivered project is not available. Once a project is delivered, a regenerated package can only target its approvers.
* The **Deliver** page shows the package's availability window. The one-time deletion happens sooner if you download it.
